Veneers are very thin pieces of durable, tooth shaped porcelain that are custom made (for shape and color) by a professional dental laboratory. They are bonded onto the front of teeth to create a beautiful and attractive smile.Veneers can completely reshape your teeth and smile. They can often be alternatives to crowns and the ideal solution in treating many dental conditions. As with most dental restorations, veneers are not permanent and may someday need replacement. They are very durable and will last many years, giving you a beautiful long lasting smile.
Getting veneers usually requires two visits to complete the process, with little or no anesthesia required during the procedure. The teeth are prepared by lightly buffing and shaping the surface to allow for the thickness of the veneer. A mold or impression of the teeth is taken and a shade (color) will then be chosen by you and the dentist. On the second visit the teeth will be cleansed with special liquids to achieve a durable bond. Bonding cement is then placed between the tooth and veneer and a special light beam is used to harden and set the bond. You will receive care instructions for veneers. Proper brushing, flossing and regular dental visits will aid in the life of your new veneers.

Always a good experience at this dental office. My family and I have been coming to Dr. Ed Wicorek's practice for nearly 40 years. I will continue to use this office even when Ed Wicorek fully retires and it is Dr. Dan Wicorek and his staff.
Always the best. How can it get any better. Thank you Dr. Ed Wicorek for your professional and kind manner and for the best staff ever. That is why we have continued to be your patients for 30 years and why we continue to refer others to you. Thank you for the best dental care and the brightest smiles in town!
I live roughly 20 to 25 miles away from Dr. Wicorek's office and I can only estimate about the number of dentists between my house and his office. Making the drive to the office past all the others is the easiest decision to make. The service is always friendly and professional. I have been going long enough that I feel like I am going to see my extended family that happens to be dentists. I always refer everyone I know to Dr. Wicorek
Sammy had such a great experience for his first visit to the dentist. Thank you so much for making us feel so welcome and helping him be excited about taking care of his teeth.
Marlene is an excellent dental hygienist. She is diligent, precise, and personal at the same time to her patients. At the end of your cleaning you feel very much satisfied with the service she provided.
After 13 or 14 years of hardly ever going to the dentist, I look forward to visiting your office. I feel like I am visiting friends, not having my teeth worked on. I also appreciate Dr. Wicorek explaining everything that is going on.
There is no possible way you could make me feel any more comfortable.............You all treat me like one of your friends. Believe it or not, I think your doctor's office is the only one I love going to !!! I can't think of anything to make my experience better. It's perfect. Thank you.
Everything, as always was perfect. I was seen immediately, everyone was kind, gracious, friendly and helpful and I could not ask for anything more. I have referred and will continue to make referrals to you if I know of anyone needing a dentist.
Gina is great about listening to and answering any of my questions about treatment, etc. She also is kind and patient with our 12 year old.
Absolutely the best dentist office in the Long beach -Los Altos area Thanks for putting together such a great dental team and they are fun too!
